Dyno Day Planning

Alright everyone! I'm starting the advertising and flyers this coming week! I need to know who is interested in helping, and how many site member we have planning on attending? Also, Is there anyone that wants to help on the forums? Any Help will be greatly Rewarded, Not only to whos helping but in the form of great new members at diesel bombers! -

We're in Blowing Rock,NC! We offer Lodging for a special deal to members of diesel bombers that want to attend thanks in part to the DB crew being so supportive! TM , I'll get you some flyers asap! Also, You Might Spread the word on Mikes tinting ability! He said if you had any problems or want to change it out let him know!

Keep us posted for sure, 16 hours is not that bad. Last time I went to Bragg I drove east on 20 and then north of ???? when 20 stopped going east. My buddy told me it was longer to go north and then east for some reason. -

How many would you say we had last year Mike?
I'm hoping for more this year but we need to get on the ball! I've got the flyers started , and the banner is updated!

Last Year we had Small and Larger Flyers, This year, I think im going all large! They Got more Attention! Also, I'll try and get some ad's on the radio! Any other advertising ideas? Any help would be great!

Food hasnt been planned yet! Also, I've got folks hounding me over a Sled Pull. I just dont know that I can get that put in the works? I would for sure need help with that if we planned that!

We also Have Church Services at 10:30 AM at our location for those staying over that dont want to miss church!

Many folks came the day before and even two days before last year, THAT GREAT! If ya'll like, we'll plan a dinner!

Please everyone keep in mind... This is a Non Profit Event... I'm not doing this to get rich... This is a fun event... Last year , 5 or so guys that were not happy with there numbers (no one here) told everyone how "they must have changed somthing on the dyno"... in reality nothing changed.. same correction factor for every truck... Some said that the dyno wasnt accurate.... In Reality.. It dosent matter for two reasons... Its just for fun, We're not out trying to prove anything, In my opinon thats the problem with the diesel performance scene now, we're all trying to prove how much better we are... its part of it I guess, But not part of this event, Secondly If all the trucks run on the same dyno , You see basicly the same result for each truck.... maybe the numbers arnt what would be seen on other dynos.... but who CARES???? You see how you compare to others!

Now Lastly.....Yea Okay...Dad Was P*&SED about his driveway........

....Until he got to watch a burnout.... So Maybe a Burnout competition? While my dads not watching

Also ... maybe a highest and lowest HP Prize? Cash? Parts? Everyone that participates gets a free ticket into mystery hill! Also, This year im going to work on some Photos for the website and would like to see as many members in one place for a photo shoot!

I've already had many request for window tinting on this day.. If your interested PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!! We do have a full service shop on hand, so if you do purchase parts , or break somthing theres certified techs on hand to assist you!

Lastly But not Least, While we're praying for good weather, The Sunday after the event will be the rain date... If it looks to be bad weather both days, We'll Proceed anyway! -

All I know is that it was packed. It was even more impressive that it was trucks of all brands and kinds. There were diesels and then an SRT-10 quad cab all the way to a rock crawler and a Camaro. -

No doubt! Everyone Keep In Mind, this event is for everyone.. Its a family event so if you get wild (fine by me) Please wait till the evening! EVERYONE IS WELCOME , Cars trucks, Rock Buggies, Motorcycles... its for everyone! Please invite everyone you know! -
