I plan on putting a package together that would be for all the sponsors. They would each have a say so dirrectly in the ad's and other print material, As well as TV and Radio Spots. We would have a advertisement made that included each sponsor for magazine such as Diesel Power, 8 Lug, and so on! In turn, This would make it the other sponsors responsibility to help publisize the event on all types of website, Taking some of the burden of me and my staff! I'm not sure how we'll do it , I guess just split the cost of the ad's between all the sponsors. I'm interested in seeing this turn into a large event. At this time, We're looking at having a HUGE nationwide BBQ-cookoff next door during the next dyno day, With cook off prizes in the $100,000 range so there will be plenty off good food. I'm also working out the logistics of a sled pull for the event.

Let me know what ya'll think! -

I'm already planning the next dyno day.
I've got some sponsors lined up but I was wondering.....

1: Where to advertise in bulk that would draw in a larger qty. of folks - ???
2: What Dyno do you folks like best Dynojet or Mustang - Would Like To See a Dyno-Jet... Seems that is what most people like. My thoughts as Well, Thats covered, Between us, I wanted someone that would run a cleaner and smoother event
3: To those that have attended, What did you like or dis-like, What would you change - Likes - Great People, Good Location, Awesome Time - Dis-Likes - No Seating, Nothing Else to Do But Watch The Trucks Run. A sled-pull would rock, Burn-out Contest, Maybe get some kind of Vender Row set up, Need LOTS of inventory Out Side for people to browse. Luke, Steph and I were The Only Ones Drinking, Hard. Our host was a pansey the night before and was in bed by 12 First of all....Someone let me make my own drinks....As you can ask luke....I was drinking VERY hard before you got there.....VERY VERY VERY HARD......Like HARD.....Thats not very Fair.....Secondly I'm hoping to have some vendors setup, some t-shirt sales and stuff like that as well. It's hard to set up a sled pull due to property issues, and we have a fairgrounds that i'm looking into , but it's hard to get to use it. That would supply , Seating, Vendor areas, Dyno area and sledpull.... the problem with this last year was vendors I had planned didnt show because of the showers, I'm also currious of how to handle bad weather? Pray real hard?
A Tent isnt really a option , I guess i could make it work! I can make the burnout contest work no problem, One other thing im considering is some type of event schedual. I'd like to have a close local drag strip.

4: What sponsors would you like to see? - ANY I'm going to see If I cant get some local places and some big name guys, I'll talk to you guys in person on this later.

5: What products would you like to see discounts on? - Everything from small to big.... Never know what someone is looking for and what a couple $$$ off might do to there decision
6: Whats a fair price for food at an event like this? - I think the price was fair last year, Not A great deal but I felt it was very fare. And teh food was awesome Next year, [color="red"]To take the burden off me , someone else is just going to do all the food, and if the cookoff is on the same day that will cover that!
7: Whats a fair price on dyno runs? - The $75 seemed good
8: Would anyone here like to sponsor? - ???
9: Would you like to see diesel bombers as one of the main sponsors? - Hell Yeah... I thought DB was a sponcer last year... Thought I heard something about raffeling off a free dyno session or something... Never saw/heard of it there though You can thank your dyno operator for that, They did give it away, but without asking me at all, I mentioned it early in the day, They were also supposed to give out cards with every dyno run. We used DB in all our advertisements and in the videos
10:3 dyno runs or 2? - 3 I would rather do 2 in some ways, but if ya'll like three thats fine, We'll talk reason on this later
11: this year we gave away almost $6,000 in gifts. What would you like to see given away? - I liked last years set-up

I was talking about the day of . I know you drank your ass off the night before. you called me like 5 times wondering how far I was... then I get there and you are a no show. Its okay.... my REAL friend Luke stuck it out with me.

You did an AWESOME job and you know dang well we will be there again this year. I know you were running in 10 directions... get some help for next year. All you have to do is ask .That sucks that the dyno guys f'ed up the give away. Just between us (on a public Forum ) they were not the most perfessinal guys. Real nice and fun but they wasted way to much time with the dyno. and there was no order at all as to who was up next and after that. Parking got alittle nuts for a while and trucks that were due at the dyno had a hard time getting to it.

We had fun though and that is all that matters.... We want to get back up there for a weekend at some point...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Steph said seating and she thought the food was awesome! they needed to stay longer though. For teh seating you might look into renting some bleachers. -

I will have to vouch for Lucas and say we did start drinking early 4:30pm and before I turned around they were into the Liquor. Maybe we could all get together earlier on Friday and have another cookout and drink some cold brew. -
