The material is ceramic. these can be used for just about anything you want to do with them. the 3400lbs to 3800lbs seem to be the best spring rates for everyday use.
you can drag race it and then tow with it on the way home. these are the ideal set ups for a street driven heavily bombed or soon to be bombed trucks. Take it to the track and let er rip and then go pull a sled. You can not beat these dual disc clutches for anything you want to do with your truck.
The heavier the spring the harder it is to shift faster. It all depends on how big your left leg is
