You will have to y-pipe it off just past the turbo pipe. If you truck has room to do so. Not to mention you'll have other issues to worry about getting around. Fuel tank, drive shaft, things of that nature. It can be done, I've seen it on a couple trucks, but it was not easily achieved. -

you guys are nutty!
LOL... you will have SO MANY LESS HEADACHES if you run the y pipe inside the bed rather than below the bed. like said above, the fuel tank, drive shaft, and many other things are in the way and it would be a severe pain in the arese to get done.chris - |

ya but it would look sweet! are there pre fab'd diamond plate boxes to help clean up the look of the stacks?
something like this? http://www.puredieselpower.com/catal...ndcoverlrg.jpg looking at that pic in more detail, it would be very easy to make my self. get a big ol' sheet of diamond plate and bend it properly and cut holes in. and i guess some weather stripping where it meets the bed. - Last edited by MMStar923; 09-04-2008 at 01:21 PM.. |

mbrp makes a box to cover the pipes. making one yourself would be cool cause you can really get detailed around the pipes to keep crap out of it. -
