i have a spare hood for just this reason, a hood stack . i would prefer the bolt on as im good at cutting, not so hot at welding plus you need a welder.... -

LOL that's cool you have a spare hood,...actually that's a pretty good idea. Especialy if you pull with your daily driver.

Hmm...only problem with using it for fun...what would you do about the hole you just cut in your hood? The hood stack is ideal for the racer's or truck pullers. Seeing that almost ALL of the pulling and racing orginizations are mandating a "turn up exhaust exit", so we think besides dual stacks, and single stack set ups, we should do a hood stack, and maybe a turn up tip for guys who don't want to run a stack set up.

Cool, hopefully we'll have something to offer to make it a little easier on you.

Hmm...stainless cover...not a bad idea. With the mounting system I thought of for the stack, we could probably do something like this....good idea thanks!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep the ideas coming. We are listening. -

Make a bolt on I have a couple spare hoods that i can cut up so the convienvce of a bolt on would be the best. I would use it at pulls and stuff like that but i also wanna keep my truck street legal so bolt would be the best way to go -

Lol I know but as far as I'm concerned the EPA can kiss my I would prolly put it on my 12v and drag it and pull it all the time and get rid of the 12" stack i have now.... Is there any possiblity that you guys could make a 8" hood stack -

How about a 2 piece down pipe on th ecummins so that when you want the hood stack all you have too do is take the DP apart with a band clamp at the break, lossen the V-Band clamp and rotate it up. Otherwise you have to remove the whole down pipe so that it is not in the way of the hood stack or banging off it. Might as well make it work to your advantage.

Oh and I would SO run one on the 1st gen -
