First of all THANK YOU to everyone who has posted I will probably PM a few of you for further help. The ONLY reason why I want to stop these guys is to protect everyone from this. There are laws in place for breaking the patent, while I'm not sure what the penalties are, I can probably find out. Just knowing that someone claims they invented the stacks through the bed just makes my head hurt. Especially since they've been doing it for years. Again, thank you all for helping out.

Yes Matt that would work. Like it was mentioned it does not specify "diesel" exhaust.

If your friend can give us the dates off the back, or whatever...that would be a huge help!

Pictures them self especially digital pictures can have the date changed. So these post to websites that automaticly keep track of the dates are a HUGE advantage for us. It is nearly impossible to change the posting date on these kinds of websites.

One thing I want to make perfectly clear, Grand Rock, MBRP, nor Silverline are applying for a patent for the through bed exhuast systems. We are trying to prove to the US patent that these two guys are not inventors of this set up. We received an email to our sales at Grand Rock from someone saying "F" you and "F" your "F-in" patent.

Thank you. -

Does the patent ONLY pertain to Diesels? There is a family near here who has a early 70s Ford pickup that has had stacks on it as long as I can recall. In fact if my memory is not mistaken it had em back in the 80s already. IF anyone here has been to the Tug-A -Tuck pulls at Wapak during the Lima 4x4 Jamboree has seen it pull and might recall the brown and white 2 tone Ford I am refering to. -

Yeah I think its a 74 model Ford. It is one sharp looking truck for a "gasser". I guess I didnt clarify that in my previous post -

I have contacted a friend of mine from the 4x4 Truck Club I belong to out of Lima. He text messaged me this morning that the guy who formed the club had stacks on his truck thru the bed and he died in 2003. My friend is going to try to make contact with that family to see if they have any pics and he is going to try to contact the family of the 70s Ford I mentioned as well. So hopefully we can come up with some info as well. I also posted the link to this thread on the 2 local 4x4 websites I belong to. -
