Help Needed From Those With Stacks - Page 2

Hey guys, I just found the US Patent # 6637537 that was issued on October 28, 2003 and was filed on February 23, 2001 by Morley Oerther and Carl Porter. Its for DUAL stacks through the bed. I've attached a copy of the patent but we all know it was done well before this. Someone needs to come us with some date stamped pics ASAP. -

Well unless you place the stacks exactly the same place and the same size hole using the same type of materials and make everything exactly like the patent, I dont see where they have a leg to stand on. As long as I dont manufacture the EXACT same system they are proposing for profit where is the infringment? -

I knew a guy that had a 1st gen dually back in '94 or '95 with through the bed stacks. It will take some serious effort, but I may be able to track him down. Now, if he only has a picture with a date stamp 15 years ago. -

I don't know if this helps or not, but I gaurantee if they see pics of my install they won't want a patent or claim a patent on that mess.( Incident with the sawzall that I really didn't want everyone to know about.
