Default powerstroke or cummins??

i have a f-350 7.3 but im having tranny problems and was thinking about selling it for a cummins should i keep the stroker or get a cummins??

its a 7.3 and rebuilding or replacing transmission will be more cost effective then buying the dodge and your psd is something to hold onto for a while

Look at it this way your trans rebuild could be anywhere from 3-5 grad if you get a built that's what I'd do, or sell your truck for maybe 5 grand if your lucky with a bad trans. Then buy a decent cummins 12+ thousand, and if it doesn't have a built trans another 3-5 grand to build one. Cummins are good motors, that's it in my book, fords are all around good vehicles.keep the ford and build it.

keep it, i wanted to do the same as you at one time but finding a decent cummins for less then 10grand is hard to do.
