Default Bad Fuel Contaminants?

Ok, I have a buddy, or used to be anyways, I used to store some of my crap out at his place because he has property out in the country. But recently me and him had a parting of the ways so I need to go get my crap, (88 ford f450, motorcycle, 2 drag up tanks, welders body, etc.) and one problem I have is that 1 of the tanks is brand new and has 50-55 gallons of clean diesel in it, well now I dont know. I was just wondering if he tried to do something to the fuel in that tank what could he have done that I wont be able to see or smell? Water I am not worried about because I can see that, I have heard sugar can cause damage but does it disolve in diesel, or will it settle? I have to pump it into my truck before I can get the tank off the ground because I would imagine he wont let me use his tractor to put it in my bed. So what are ways he could have vandelized my fuel so it would cause harm to my truck, fuel system or engine?

Its less than 2 months old. Can you see the algae if it does have it or is it like micro organisms?

I'm not so sure I would just pump it in your tank... Replacing injectors will not be exciting for you without good cores to send in...

Can you dip a cup or something in there to check the fuel?

Ok, well I can see that in the tank, it is brand new, but I can dip a cup too, what about sabotage? Can you think of anything he might have done that I wont be able to see or smell?

He would have to be a pretty big ***** to do that...

I would say pump it thru a 10 mic fuel/water filter and you should be good.

Yeah, he is a punk, very vindictive and conniving. Comes up with tsome wierd stuff to do to people, I am even more sick than him but I have no reason to do that to someone, niether does he but he like to screw with people just because he can, he is also on ALOT of prescription pills. He isnt right in the head, and he is retired so all he does is sit around all day and think of ways to screw with people and how to get 1 over on them. I have a goldenrod water block 15 micron clear bowl filter on it right now, do you think that will be ok?

Sodium Silicate

I just remembered that a company I worked for had like 1.3 mill in damage because someone put this suff in the engines, fuel, transmissions and hydraulics.
