Just information
I am retired, ok I was a natural gas engine mechanic. I worked on big stationary engines.
One of them was a Worthington 5clh stationary engine. I don't think any of you have heard of it.
It is a 5 cylnder natural gas engine. Top speed was 500 rpm. The turbo charger weighed 1500 pounds, and the pistons weighed 700 pounds each.
The interesting thing was all the guages and stuff I could use on my diesel engine. The company scraped all of them due to smog issues.
Would they let any employee have parts? No they all went for scrap.
Wish I had some of the pyrometors and guages today!
