Default Hurray I think the oil leaks are solved

Well I made it home with an out of state Dodge truck with major oil leaks and got it registered in my state no problem. Killed the dowel pin and installed a new seal with sleeve, also red lock tighted all the timing case bolts as described somewhere in this forum. Not sure where my oil leaks where coming from, but looked like front seal was one of them. I noticed the cover on the p7100 pump that covers the fuel plate only had 2 bolts in it and they weren't that tight.
I had to drill out a broken bolt for one and just install a bolt in the other. Does that much oil run through the injection pump? The original owner had mickey moused quite a few things on this truck including the throttle rod running from the throttle cable back to I think the governor. He had the idle set by that rod instead of the idle screw? After I got it running again I shut off the engine and Tranny fluid started pouring out of the transmission. After investigation I pulled out the dip stick tube and found a hole about 4 inches or so up the dip stick. My guess is after you shut off the engine it must allow oil to flow back into the pan?
Welded up the hole and put in a new o ring and took the first drive today and hooray I don't see any drips on the floor... The air conditioning also is an issue. If I turn it on it will cycle the pump for a few seconds and one of the lines gets cold but then the pump clutch turns back off and never gets cold in the cab. I shorted across the compressor cycle switch located on the dryer and it seems to work fine, I will pick up the new switch when it comes in on Monday, mean while my fingers are crossed. Almost time to buy the gauges if I can figure out where to put them as I can't stand pillar mounts.
