does anyone have the formula to calculate power loss due to the elevation??

Nope. It depends on the boost pressure ratio.

Thanks. Have you had your rig at sea level and then back to the denver area?? The truck right now is in Indiana(800ft) but i am stationed at Ft. carson, so i was just trying to figure out if i would notice a power loss like i did my N/A gas engines.

You shouldn't notice anything. I've been from -100ft to 11,000ft and can't tell a difference.

I have certainly noticed a difference from sea level to where I live (4500ft,) but I really don't think sea level to 800ft is enough elevation change to make a difference.

where the truck is now is at about 800ft, Ft. Carson(where i am stationed at stateside) is sitting at about 6,000 ft. Have not had the truck in colorado since i bought when i was home on R&R leave and have had gassers since living in colorado. Few more months and i will tell you for sure.
