Default Basic Turbo Knowledge

Just looking for a basic explanation of turbo sizes and configurations? Sorry for such a vague question but just trying to figure it all out. Guys on the site throw alot of numbers around and I'm not sure what I'm looking at. This is the only think I have alot of confusion on with diesels and I want a better understanding. Thanks in advance for any and all input

Learn how to interprete those numbers and whats behind them.
A good book all around the turbo for 25$!
