But that site is down at the moment. Opie hangs out on NW Bombers tho, might try hitting him up with a PM? |

This was Opies email address last year, from what little I know, he has designed it in conjunction with a manufacturer, and markets it himself....There are no other vendors that I have come accross....

Does the Duramax have a mechanical lift pump stock?
Can a 1st or 2nd gen lift pump be bolted onto a 3rd gen? |

From what I understand, from reading on the dieselplace is that Mike L Ingelwood Transmissions sells them for Opie.
Dennis shoot him a PM and see what he can do for ya, Mike is a really good guy and if he doesn't he would probably know, but I am pretty sure that he sells them.... ![]() ALSO C.A.P has one on his truck, i'll rattle his cage tonight too for info. Right, there are DMAX's that are running PPE's dual cp3's and the MITUSA
Like I said, I will rattle C.A.P's cage, he is one of them with both on his truck....

I am sure you noticed that he has not been on in a while. I'll sent him an email for you.

Well I see I am missed .
Yes, the MITUSA is a gear driven vacuum pump. It is as good of a lift pump as you can get . It is adjustable as to the max psi and is easily adjusted with a regulator valve. It works well with a dual cp3 , as most lift pumps are pusher pumps , pushing fuel through the system . The MITUSA is a vacuum pump sucking fuel through it . It is a belt driven pump that has a bypass so if the belt breaks the system still works. This I can tell you is most lift pumps will hold high idle psi which is not needed as the pushing of the pumps is at a constant voltage, but decline as rpms go up. The MITUSA is a RPM belt driven pump where it goes up as RPMS go up. I have this set up with dual cp3 and have had it with one cp3. The dual mounting system I run is a redesign of the HERTZ bracket and my own plumbing design. It will hold 14 psi at WOT with 26K on the rail and such. Here are a few pics of my mounts and set up. Its 304 Stainless bracket I made with a 4140 Retaining nut to run the second pulley . It is A design I revised from a prototype on a race truck. I have been involved with . |
