So lite duty trucks are going diesel...Nissan is putting the 2.8 4 cylinder Cummins in there trucks...This is a proven engine that Cummins has manufactured for years...Dodge is putting a 3.0 4 cylinder diesel engine in there Ram 1500 manufactured by Fiat...I would think Dodge would have jumped on the opportunity to put that little Cummins engine in there lite duty trucks...Just because of the great reputation there 2500 and 3500 trucks with the Cummins have...I guess it all comes down to cost maybe the 2.8 Cummins is too costly...
