Dirt Designs’ Trophymax Diesel Prerunner Hits The Dunes

Check out Dirt Cinema's latest video of Dirt Designs' Trophymax Diesel Prerunner to find out!If you’ve been following us for some time now, you might remember Austin Lessel’s Durtymax Special crew cab Chevy from the May 2013 issue of Diesel Power Magazine and we’re pretty darn impressed by how gnarly this truck has become over the past year since we featured it. One of the biggest change is that this truck is no longer a sleeper beige Duramax Chevy. It’s has been wrapped in a metallic blue skin that really makes it pop in the dunes. Speaking of the dunes, Austin is no stranger to the Pismo Beach sand dunes so it’s no surprise he has been going faster and catching more air in the dunes in the Durtymax. All this has led to a redesign of the front suspension. The custom long travel Dirt Designs suspension has now been replaced with an even wilder set of Dirt Designs Equal Length I-beams that allow it to get some massive wheel travel numbers that rival some of the best race trucks out there.
