help with NTC 335 cummins.
hey guy, i just bought a 1948 kenworth a few day ago. it has a 1970 NTC-335 cummins that got transplanted in it some time in the 80s.
1st day- started right up with just a little help with ether,
2nd day- same as 1st,
3rd day- started on its own after only a few cranks, (then after warm shut down and replaced fuel filter then restarted and ran for over an hour)
4th day- no start. even with ether. after repriming the system and a bit to much ether it started but had to be kept over 1,000 rpms or it would die.
so i dont get what happend. one day i had a great runing truck and now i dont. any help would be great. thanks guys.
