Last night I went to pass a semi and about half around as I am accelerating a definite clunk/pop occurred. I lost some power and the exhaust started emitting black smoke while powering up. If I would cruise without adding power the smoke would abate. I tried bringing the rpms up once I got home, unable to get beyond 3000-3200, after letting off the accelerator their was a different whine not sounding like the turbo.

Any words of wisdom????
