Modding a 6.7 Cummins
Hello everyone, i am new to DieselBombers, aswell to owning a cummins. I bought a 2009 6.7L 6 speed a couple weeks ago, i am new to owning a cummins, but not to a diesel, i had a 99' 7.3L powerstroke prior 700bhp, rebuilt almost everything.
well, as i am new to these bluetec 6.7L, i would like to ask for a FULL list of everything that i would need to do to reach 6-700 bhp and still be driveable as an every day driver... the only thing that i do know for sure that i need to do is a full delete and chip/programmer, but i need to know specifics, such as do these run better with a 6" back 5" back or 4", what kind of chips/programmers are the best, aswell as being delete capable. like i said i need a full list with some sort of $ estimates to build it right, and bullet proof the first time.
Thanks for reading, and feed back would be much appreciated

5in turbo back smarty or h&s if you can get the offroad or me tunes. Efi live works to. Intake, egr block off or remove kit. If you go injectors a intercooler and or single turbo upgrade would be recommended. If you go with a twin turbo setup head work like o-rings or head only firerings will be needed if you would like to not change you gaskets monthly. If you live in a state where you smog you diesels try just doing the first 3 things before you go all out to see if it works well enough for you and still be able to change it back with out to Much effort o and ps welcome to the real 6.7 club

how much $ are we talking to get 600-700 bhp with it being bulletproof, as in, if i get on it quite a few times, nothing should go wrong.
also, im up in idaho for a job, and im probably going to be here for a few months, so i was wondering if anyone knew of a GREAT diesel performance shop up near Boise?
