Comparing to online prices is typically the best way to do it. You will never get the money back from Modifications to a vehicle. If you can recuperate 25% of the purchase price, you are doing well.

Thank you Ryan, I am glad someone else understands that mods don't make a truck worth more.

The best thing to do is remove what you have added and sell those parts separate from the truck itself. You will still get a fair amount of money for the parts you have taken off.

It's makes it worth more to me

Selling the aftermarket goodies separate will yield more cash in the end. Only issue is trying to sell them, and how long it takes.

Buying any modded truck to me is a scary thing. Plus I work for a dealership and they don't care what you have done to it if the miles are in range and that vehicle is clean then you are golden if not your not.... They don't increase the value because you have wheels on it or a programmer.

It really all depends on what your lowest price is that you can accept for the truck. Then start high on the price and work your way down until someone takes her off your hands. You will have IMO a very small target group. There is the diesel classified on facebook that can help you out. At least get a lot of exposure for you.

If your looking for 27,000, ask 30,000. I don't know many people that look at a truck, and buy it for asking price. If you list 27,000, expect to get 25,000.
