Default 2004 Power stroke 6.0

I have a 2004 F250 6.0 power stroke with a low power problem. While I was driving I notices I was loosing power I could not get over 40mph I went back home I checked he oil and transmission fluid it was ok I called the Ford shop in my town and was told to bring it in the next day. I left for the shop and could not get over 20 mph and it kept going down until it stopped and would not start. Ford shop pulled me in later that day I called and they told me the upper and lower fuel filter was stopped up and changed them but it was not running right. That was on Tuesday I have called to check and gone to dealer to see if they could find the problem. Today Friday I am told it has a low oil pressure in the high side. My question is will this low oil pressure cause this problem? It will be next week before it gets fixed I hope. Thank you for any advice or information you can give me.
