i have a question, i have 2008 ford 450 if i do a filter and EGR delete with out a tuner what will happen? i just have a edge tuner for fuel saving and towing.on now?will this inprove mpg

 

I have a 1999.5 F250 super duty 7.3 5spd with granny gear.
Here's my problem the truck runs runs good actually when sitting in neutral and I Revit up it comes back and starts shaking at idle but goes away after a couple of seconds . The gas tank is been completely redone new fuel pump new fuel filters. I have a bully dog tuner on it and when I set it to the highest setting I don't get any Blacksmoke also seems to have more power at half throttle then full throttle. Also my service engine light comes on and off seems to come on when I give it gas and goes away when I let off the gas . the bully dog also give me a P 1316 code. What I don't understand is the truck runs amazing at half throttle but soon as I Floor it's like I lose power and with the bully dog turn on the highest setting I should have black smoke coming out, sometimes I do get Blacksmoke but most of the time I don't get any not that I want it to smoke I just know it's a high setting it should be pushing up some black smoke. Any help would be great thank you very much
