I Have to do the same line pretty soon. Did you just replace it? didn't have to bleed the lines or anything?

Nope, no need to bleed lines! Just unscrew the fitting from the passenger side of the heads, using the Ford replacement line and bolt on the new one. Remember to add some protection for the line so it don't happen again!

Nevad7.3... sorry my earlier reply was talking about the fuel line I replaced. The power steering line was a different issue! On this one, the "o-ring had failed, causing all the fluid to leak out, the brakes also did not work, because Ford, "HAD a better idea", uses a Hydro-boost system for both the power steering and the power brakes. So you loose both when this fail and the fluid is gone!! I bought the entire new line and then changed it out. Please do not wait like I did until the line fails because it will spray power steering fluid all over the entire engine bay , and then all over the ground!! What a mess to have to clean up. Although, the area was pretty clean after all that!

Hydroboost is a lot better braking system for engines that have a larger cam. I am looking for a setup for my lightning, and I know others that are running hydroboost. A lot smaller than the vacuum canister and the truck doesn't lurch forward while holding the brakes from the cams.
