Default Using oil, smoking a little

I am using nearly a qt per 1000, after it sits and idles for an hour or 2 when you take off there are a couple of puffs of smoke, light colored. Can the injectors leak oil into the combustion chamber or is it pretty much the rings are shot?

Could be turbo O rings, could be injector O rings...

If you dont have excessive blow by, its not the rings.

Bad valve seals can also cause it to smoke on startup and at idle or just accelerating from a stop.
