Default white smoke .... oh no

ok so i have a 99f350 stock down pipe into a 4inch turn out and edge evo on it i run the tow mode most of the time and when im doing 55 and up and let off just coasting down hill i get a cloud of white dumping out and when im at a stop light when it shift it will push out a lil bit from first to second and then i dont see it till im up to speed n let off any idea whats going on air filter is newer turbo seems to spool fine and work good i dont know what to do or check it just is buggin me and i wanna fix it

maybe injectors hpop or any ideas would be a big help thanks for your time

i have the same problem with the white smoke with my truck. i think its the turbo seals

i really hope its something easy to fix cuz i do not want to do injectors or hpop

Sounds like the turbo is leaking past the seals... Let it idle for about 5 minutes in your driveway and then give it a good bump to about 2500RPM's. You will get a big cloud of blueish white smoke. Smell like oil...

yeah thats exactly what my truck does..it smokes after warm up..town driving and when i let off from highway speeds.i am probably going to go with the garrett 38r. but the chances of it being a cheap easy fix arent likely most likely the turbo.

Could also be a cracked injector cup or injector nozzle.
