Did you change out the rear rotors as well?
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
I have been searching the internet and it seems that there is a wide variety of prices for rotors. Should I assume that if the price is less expensive, the rotors are generally not very good? I found this website:
Performance Brake Components for Ford Super Duty and Excursion Vehicles From Wheeler's Off-Road
Anyone have any suggestions other than "Power Slot", I am not opposed to the Power Slots, I am trying to look at all options. I am unable to differentiate between brands and the metal being used for the Rotors...I am definitely using ceramic pads, and I am also thinking of just changing the front rotors and NOT the backs at this time, good idea? Or, bad idea?

I just ordered mine form here Brake Rotors Discs Pads Brakes Cross Drilled & Slotted they recomended going with the dimped and slotted not the drilled becasue of the weight of the truck. Also they come with free basic pads. They said not to go with the ceramic pads because again of the weight of the truck and the heat the would create.

Well here's the deal...I ordered the dimpled/slotted rotors from Brake Performance. As I was contemplating the purchase, a pop up came up on the screen and gave me a code to save an additional $40, well that pretty much paid for the ceramic upgrade for the pads...New Rotors and Pads on the way...also bought a G38R Turbo a TS Chip and dual steering stabilizer...the $$$ goes fast when working on a Diesel and SpynTec's Unit Bearing Conversion.

I said less than 50% as a ballpark figure, when I had a speed sensor go out a year ago, I noticed the brakes were right at 50%, so saying they are less than 50% is a guess-tamation, I figure they are way more worn then a year ago and since I am going to install the unit bearing conversion, it's a good time to do the brakes. I'm gonna be doing a lot of towing as well. I had the brakes done in 2004 after owning the truck for four years, now it's seven years later and when I go to brake the truck pulls to the right slightly, so I want to get that fixed as well. Otherwise, I agree that 50% is a lot of brake left.
