It depends on if you want it built up or you want a stock one.

im assuming you have an automatic, i had a price quote for a rebuild on my tranny just stock, it was 3000 before installation, $4500 for a BTS built tranny that i can beat the crap out of and throw everything at it that i want to and it will hold it. im going with a BTS but im also working towards a 600rwhp goal

DONT GO CHEAP on your built transmission. Do it RIGHT the FIRST TIME and go with BTS or John Wood. Price ranges anywhere from 4100-4500 dollars.

not a problem man, thats what were here for. Diezel Dawg is %100 right on this! i know a guy who had an 08 cummins with just shy of 800hp, blew his tranny with his twins so he got some cheap rebuild, 2 weeks later he was back in the shop getting a suncoast. he didnt blow that one up for another 6 months

I've heard nothing but good about John Wood, BTS, or Suncoast. I've only delt with Twisted(Brian Jelich and Empire Diesel swear by them). But this is my $.02, if the big boys use them, we should take that as a sign they are worth it. One of those 4 would would get my money.
