Default 6.0 or 7.3 read this need feedback!

I have a 7.3 f250 4x4 nice condition but has 210,000. I love it but **** I have had it for a while. kinda wanted to get a 6.0 done plently of research how they are **** for motors. I also heard with that kit that replaces everything in motor for like 1800. I heard a 6.0 will outlast a 7.3 any day. any feedback?

where did you hear that a 6.0 will outlast a 7.3? a 6.0 is blow the 7.3 way in power but 7.3 will run forever if you maintain them

6.0 will never outlast a 7.3 just no chance of it. if your happy with your truck why get a new one and potentially hate it? why not just start improving your truck

6.0 is a paper weight on roids. if u wanna 6.0 keep ur 7.3 so that you have something to drive regularly.

heres my 6.0 story to shed some light on it for ya.got it summer of '06 and sold in a few months ago. was in the shop 8-10 months total when i had it went through 3 egr valves 5 egr coolers 3 HPOPs and a number of other things. did studs and an egr delete then the injectors went bad and it all went down hill from there. now its for sale while i tool around in a 7.3 that has given me 3 problems all 3 of which where my fault or the fault of the previous owner

long story short save ur money and put the 7.3 in the shop for a couple weeks and do a complete rebuild and u will have saved money over buying a 6.0 not to mention the the work ud have to do to the 6.0...

i would buy a 6.0 in a second but you need about 7 grand to put in it to make it reliable

you could put a VGT turbo in a 7.3 but you would need to figure out how to control it.
