what is the purpose of a ccv mod and how do you do it? does it hurt the turbo by not having oil go through it or does it help with surging?

it just gets rid of your intercooler boots being oily as hell all the time, and no it will not hurt the turbo, and no it will not help with surge, just cleans up your boots is all.... and you just run some hose from it to somewhere else of your desire and you are done

Yea i am wanting to do the ccv mod on my truck and was wondering to if it would do anything to my turbo without having that oil go in to it anymore. there are a few people that make kits but i was going to make my own

it wont hurt the turbo at all, and making your own is just fine and a lot cheaper
