7.3L block heater...
I have a 2001 f250 and there is no power cord for a block heater... and so my question is did every 7.3 come with a block heater? I saw a post on here about getting a plug from international and that it plugs in by the oil filter... does anyone have a clear pic of this area?
I have not been able to look for myself but tomorrow I will be out there looking if its not freezing again tomorrow!!!

Could any one tell me if there is a reason why ford 7.3 powerstroke block heater is sold as a different part then powerstroke 6.0 block heater?
They both look exactly the same to me, I ask because I have one heater for the 6.0 and I need to install one on my 7.3 -99
I know that the heater plug for the 7.3 should be size 3/4" NPT
I do not know how I could check what size the new plug is that I have, without taking out the old plug from my 7.3
One other funny thing is if you read about the heater plug for 7.3 or 6.0 it often says in both like this: Also replaces Ford block heater with LR1843 marking
In my head that means that both 7.3 and 6.0 has exactly the same heater plug????
