Default fuel question

i own a 2001 f250 wit 230000 miles on it and i have a edge with attitude chip. my question is when i some times turn it all the way up it will blow white or light gray smoke. i know white smoke is bad i think it might not be geting enuf fuel to the motor anyway to get more fuel to the motor? links will help thanks

In my experiance (I'm not a pro by any means) but you can usually hear if one is acting up at idle or during acceleration. I like the old "railroad track" method, put a screwdriver on the valvecover above each cylinder with your ear against the handle. It may be old school, but I've found many bad injectors that way on many different engines. Don't do it on a MTU or Paxman...your ear will ring for a week!
