how do i change glow plugs???

Default how do i change glow plugs???

so i ordered my glow plugs yesterday and now im waiting on em, so i wanting to find out how ta change em before they get here, will i loose oil?

Remove IC tubes, Remove Valve covers, remove Glow plugs, reinstall glow plugs, reinstall Valve covers, reinstall IC tubes...

Done.

Use a 1/4" drive to remove them, a deep socket gets hung up on the rockers from time to time, Snap on makes a mid length for them that is slick as hell, but I bet Sears would sell the same. If I think of it tomorrow I will snap a pic of the socket. (it may be at home thou)

all i have ta do is unplug em , and just use a socket ta bust em loose and finish threading em out?

Easy as that. I did mine when I installed injectors. I primed and painted my IC tubes while they were out too.

ya im thinking about that too, im thinking a type of blue since my truck is blue and all, i figured a nice ocean blue, i have a couple cans laying around

That I don't remember, not very big though. A basic SAE/Metric socket set with deepwells is all I ever use. I lay it open on my fuel bowl cover and the size I need is just a short reach away LOL
