Default 99.5 ford f250 7.3 hard cold start runs rough no power

Very hard to start, once started misses really bad like it's running on 6 or 7 cylinders? Has no power smokes black. It's been really cold and has been blown 30 amp fuz for the ecm and fuel bowl heater so I had to unplug it. Once the truck is worm I plug the heater in and it doesn't blow. But still runs like ****. I have tried using 2 different code readers and they can't scan it could that be because of my dp tuner?

Mine used to do that, i never had a problem with the dp tuner, i would check to make sure that your block heater is working in the proper position and that the outlet on your house or w/e you plug the truck in isnt blowing the outlet or the breaker

Those are both fine. Its blowing the fuz for the fuel "bowl heater" not the "block heater".

Should i have my dp tuner disconnected, to the get the truck scanned??? because i have tried 3 different code and none of them can connect to the truck. one of the scanners was the nice new snap on scanner that is suppose to read every thing.

It keeps saying it has no CODES but the ses light is still on and its still got no power, blows black, runs hot!!! for me to get 2 30 mph i have to be floring it and egts get to about 1200

1200* is fine. These trucks can run 1250* all day long with no issues.
BUT, just trying to get up 30mph should NOT be running 1200*

Fuel bowl heater is bad. No biggy, just unplug it from the bottom of the fuel bowl and be done.

The code reader is getting no codes, or can not connect??? Sounds like your OBD2 port is dead, which is another fuse.

Check to see if your power ports are working on the dash. Sounds like they are dead which is the same power for the OBD port.

If your having hard accel issues and getting to 1200* that easy, more then likely its the EBPV on the back of the turbo.

well I'm going to go cheek the the fusses for the the port first but i am thinking the ecm because the day befor it broke it fried the ecm fuse...
Should i just get my hands on another one and just plug it in?? i think im going to take off my tuner first of all and try scanning it.

The ebpv is fine cuz i have a exhaust break on the dp and wen i go to that setting you can hear and feel it so that works fine.

PCM fues is the same as the fuel bowl heater... Unplug the fuel bowl heater and that fuse should be fine.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

on the pcm do all the numbers and letters have to be exact?? Could the pcm be a reason i cant scan it?? what could be so F'ed up that would make me not able to read it??????

I have cheked all the fuses they are all fine i have to go up to the dealer to get the pcm checked
