There's all kinds of things to do to make your truck smoke. You can put a bag over the air filter, like FastCR said, you could light it on fire, just use your imagination!

Seriously though, don't ask "how do I make my truck smoke?" Think of it as "How do I get my truck to make more power and get the smoke that comes with the power?" Its people that run around just blowing black smoke everywhere all the time that is giving the diesel community a bad name and causing all the tight emissions and crap for diesels now.

To actually try to help you here, check out TS Performance's and Tony Wildman 6 position chips. Just Google them. Post a thread in the vendors' section asking about chips to get a price quote and some info from some of our fine DB sponsors. Hope that helps and good luck.

power hungry performance (php) they make a great chip thats what i run, they have a tune called "smoke show" but the 120 hp make plenty of smoke for me, and ford man is right, its about power not smoke

With great power, comes great smoke. Don't worry about making smoke. Just do what you can to create some power and the smoke will come as a side-effect.
