Default fuel pressure???

I have seen fuel pumps on 7.3 do this and also if it is a high mileage truck I have seen the strainers in the fuel sending unit plug and do this exact thing. IE starve it for fuel after running for a while then after not running for a period it would run fine...... Just something to check.
