Default Low cost mods for 99 7.3L?

Hi All,
Just got a 99 powerstroke a few weeks ago. Manufactured in 06/99. I am wondering what the top few mods to invest in for this truck are. I am not looking to spend thousands, but would like a little more power and better fuel economy when I am on the highway.
Thanks

intake for about $250, exhaust for about $300, Custom chip for about $400, then a couple of gauges to watch and you should be set. wont even recognize the truck and they are all do it your selfers.

I only deal with 3 suppliers: Twisted Diesel, Bean's Diesel, and Swamp's Diesel, but here's a few to check out that had low prices. I run the TS 6-Position and love it.

Intake: Advance Diesel 99-03 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L K&N Intake Kit - Advance Diesel Performance

Tuner/Chip: TS Performance 6 Position Chip

you can make your own intake for about 100 bucks give or take, thats what i did, just cut up my intake box, and stuffed an air raid filter on it, works great
