Default looking for a high flow fuel pump to replace my fass

I have lost all confidence in my fass to maintain pressure as twice it has left my truck riding home on a flatbed hauler. the fass had a 5/8" check ball instead of a 3/4" it should have had and burned up the pump. now even with the right ball it has dropped pressure to zero so it has to go. I still have a dahl 100 filter fuel line cooler, but I need a good quiet fuel pump. something that will work with my 5/8" tank fuel line and my ITP regulated return with fuel bowel delete.

what do you all recommend

Air dog has a new high pressure pump they just came out with... Seems to be getting great reviews...

I am getting by fine with a stock pump pushing 250cc hybrids...

a couple of things I would like to accomplish is to make it realable and quiet. I have 2 layers of sound deadening and you can still hear that pump above my turbo and it sounds like its coming apart. I guess the air dog is noisy too

put are you using it on a dodge where the pressure is much lower?
the fass is normally mounted on the frame rail near the rear spring hanger on my X I had to mount it right behind the transmission cross member.

I am thinking it might be better to use the fass for low pressure to feed a high pressure pump

Fass really suck when it comes to a higher pressure pump. Everyone I know that runs one eats one every few months...

I would run a low pressure airdog as a pickup pump and a stock fuel pump as your HP pump. Easy, symple and works.

Problem is, most of those fuel pumps only put out 30 psi... You need 70psi on a powerstroke...

I already have a 1/2 fuel line from the pump to the fuel bowl delete and a 5/8 line from the fuel tank pickup to the pump, I feel like going back to a stock pump would be moving backwards a my fuel pressure with my stock pump would fall to 28psi from 72psi when I went to wot with my stage 2 injectors

You have something else going on if your dropping that much fuel PSI with stage 2's... With a stock pump and 250cc hybrids I am not dropping below 45psi, and thats with a single stock fuel pump with 150k on it, pulling thru a 10mic water filter and pushing thru a 2 mic final filter...

Have you checked your pick up tube?
