Hey guys, great site you have here....

Was wondering what weight oil you would recomend for an Alaskan rig. temps in the winter hover between 30 and -30 usually

i would go with a 5w-40 full synthetic -

joebob3093's Sig:{95 F250 Powerstroke XLT} 5 spd, Wildman 6 pos. chip, ADs, AFE stage 2 intake, 3" down pipe to dual 3.5" exhaust with 5" tips. EBPV break, shimed FPR, idm mod by mattymx, CCV mod, Leveling Kit, diprocol egt and boost guages.

I just put 5w-40 synthetic in mine last change in illinois i like it. -

Would strongly recommend synthetic. 5W-40 is a good choice. 5W-30 is also an acceptable option. -

Ford Recomends a 30wt for those temps... Regular dyno will work just fine. -
