Buy a real turbo. Don't waste money on the stock turbo depending on what you want to do with the pickup

If you are going to do much upgrading buy a different turbo. The stock ones don't support much. I'm not even sure who I would send a stock turbo to anyways

I got in touch with a place I found online www.turborepair.com (Work Turbochargers) and it's a reasonable price they're going to rebuild the factory one balance it, new gaskets and seals, delete exhaust flap, upgrade the wheel to a billet wheel and upgrade waste gate for $790 plus shipping.

Google garret 38R. Its a 66mm ball bearing turbo that's a direct replacement. Doesn't come with a billet wheel but they make an upgraded one to put in.
