Default 7.3 mods?

hey guys im lookin into buyin a 7.3 or my first diesel. i have helped work on several and know quite a bit about them. but i am wondering about what y'all suggest for a chip/ tuner. I know the turbos in these trucks are pretty good for stock so dont think ill upgrade that for a while. also if im looking to reconfigure the exhaust what would you all suggest? im thinkin 4" turbo back leading to dual 6" stacks? Any suggestions would be great!

Gauges first, then intake and exhaust. I run an AFE in mine, exhaust is whatever you want. Its more or less all the same. I had a stack in mine but its very loud in the cab so I had to take it out. I run dual 4in with an areoturbine muffler. For the chip I would go with a TS 6pos with custom tuning from gearhead or tony wildman

I would never ever run anything from ATS.

An intercooler is something you could do but if all you have is a chip for now you should be fine.

They mainly focus on dodge and Chevy stuff, not to mention they are a terrible company with some of the worst customer service I have have heard about.

Well the basics are Intake, Exhaust, and a Tune. It is important to have gauges, esp if you will be towing.
I have a Napa 6637 air filter, MBRP 4" exhaust with and areoturbine, and a TS 6-ps chip (although its not tuned by tony wildman). DP tuner is another popular one that people run.
