just thought id let everyone know how the install went on riffraff diesel's frx and hpx. the hpx was simple took about 15 minutes and 50 bucks for a nice stainless steel crossover tube. the frx gave me trouble only because i dropped the fitting behind the ac compressor bracket and ended up taking the compressor off to get the fitting in with my big hands. i put the 67-70 psi spring in the housing and after all was said and done it does run very nicely and think it did help out a bit for the 220 i spent on the two. i hope this will be enough to support some stage 2 injectors in the future.

 

Did you notice any performance improvements. Or is it more insurance, then a power adder? Just wondering because I am interested in doing these mods as well.

 

well there is no seat of the pants feel to it im sure it probably increases a few horsepower, but it does run alot smoother at low and high rpms but i just did it for more peace of mind than anything.
