Default looking for reliable power with pmr rods-new member didnt see an old post on this exa

first off hi everyone im seth and am a diesel mechanic (class 8 mostly) but do 90% of my own work.. that being said ive been doing a lot of reading on performance upgrades for my truck, and im not the guy coming on here asking how to change my oil or install a cai. i have 140 on my engine, ive been thinking of going with anywhere fro 200-250cc/80-100% injectors and probably a irate diesel t4 setup with a s366-400 on it and a air dog fuel system possibly with a quad feed if th frx with the 72 psi spring isnt enough, and an srp1.1 hpop should be sufficient with hybrids. also head studs, hopefully when this is done i can afford a cam and pushrods valvesprings, the whole nine. im just wondering who i should use for custom tuning, if you think this would be ok with pmrs and where i would be at hp/tq wise i was thinking/ hoping probably close to 500 hp? and just a note im not a fan of chips i have an edge evo and when i get custom tunes im thinking of getting an sct and either keeping the edge for extra gauges(eot, tft, voltage) or going with the livewire...
any comments questions concerns advice is appreciated

I wouldn't push PMRs to 500 but thats just me. The most I would personally go would be 238/80s with an S366.

Since your looking into irates kits talk to him about a package deal. He can get you full force injectors, his turbo kits, fuel system, hpop and the studs and springs. His fuel system is a lot better then the airdog.

The 7.3s like chips, most all the tuners run them. Your going to greatly limit yourself on tuning options by running a SCT, plus you can not switch tunes on the fly.

yes, the pmrs scare me, one day if everything goes well id like to put rods in it an get either aftermarket heads or send them to the local machine shop, do you think oe forged rods would be enough? to solve the problem cheaper, in search of 500-600hp or drop the cash for billet rods? who has the best tunes, i hear alot of power hungry and dp and gearhead. i wouldnt mind the hydra chip but it seems kind of cheap and i might play with it to much with that many options

For 500-600 forged rods should do fine.

I would look into gear head for the tuning if it was me.
