Default Shuts off and then restarts while driving

2001 F250 Superduty 2wd 7.3 manual

I'm driving with empty or loaded truck on all types of road from hiway to mountain hills and the engine will shut off for a second or two and then because it is manual it jump starts and runs fine. When it loses power I do see the RPMs start to drop before it jump starts itself.

Runs great the rest of the time. Has new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new air filter, good oil pressure and the fuel tank is nearly full. When it jump starts it has full power, no low fuel pressure hesitation. It turns on the service engine soon light but does not set any codes.

I am thinking the camshaft position sensor or the crank position sensor.

Both of my trucks have done this and both times i have replaced the cam sensor. Now I have had to take back a bad new sensor right out of the box. I've gotten NAPA and Advance Auto. The only place I can go to for a good sensor is the dealer. Not always the cheapest but when out on the road it's who I can count on. Not that NAPA or AA sell junk cause i have their parts on my truck it just seems the CPS sensor is difficult to get right.
