Default Air Conditioning Problems

Going to Atlanta the other day and the AC quit blowing cold air. Checked and clutch was not engaging. Replaced clutch drove about a mile down road blowing very cold air and then it quits again. Clutch engaged and spinning compressor but no cold air. Put gauges on it and low side was reading high and high side was low to normal. Blockage I guessed. New O'tube and drier. Pulled old tube out and it is trashed. Metal flakes and chunks of trash. New tube and drier. Pulled down to 30 for an hour and half. shut off values on gauges and low side held at 30 for 5 minutes. Hooked up new freon to add but it only took just a small amount before low side gauge starting reading high again and high side was reading low now. I know the compressor is working so what else could be clogged and where?

fist things first, drain the system and get a new charge. is this doesn't work check the condenser fins and evaporator housing drain tube for blockage. you might just have a back-up.
if al else fails have a pro check the accumulator.
