Default 1999 7.3 engine

i feel sure the answer to this is out there, i just can't find it. I just bought a 1999 7.3 that runs really bad when it is cold (don't mean 0-F) just cold below operating temperature. After motor reaches normal operating temperature, it runs like a new one, does anybody have a suggestion, thanks.

ps. yea, the truck was already warmed up when i took the test drive, go figure, ha.

Could be lots of things, have you changed the oil since you bought it?

Try plugging it in overnight, maybe the glow plugs are going out in it.
