Default Early 99 7.3l Problem!!!!!! Please Help

I have an automatic 1999 Ford F350 7.3l powerstroke diesel. A few days ago I went to shift from park into drive and the overdrive button part of the shifter came off and when it did, a wire got cut that was leading to the overdrive button. When this happened, nothing on my dash worked (speedometer, fuel gauge, rpm, mileage, ect...) and when I was not accelerating, the truck will beep like it does when you first turn it over when waiting for the glow plugs to warm up. The doors also lock and unlock (continuously and only when my foot is off the accelerator). I have now replaced the steering column shifter in hopes that it would solve my problem of a cut wire messing with all my electronics. But now that it is replaced with a new part, it still does the same things as described before. I am thinking it may be a blown fuse but cannot find which one or a solution to this problem! I am greatly appreciative of anyone who can offer me a solution. Thanks
Dan

It also stops beeping and locking/unlocking the doors when Overdrive is OFF. Speedo or rpm gauge still does not work regardless of Overdrive button position.

start with checking all fuses with an ohm meter and check resistance with the fuses out, including the ones under the hood. be thorough and we will go from there!
