My buddy has a 97 F250 4x4, and he called me one night and says its shutting off when he's idling and starts right back up, classic CPS issue, so I ordered up a purple one straight from International, 20 bucks. THrow it in for him, and we go for a drive, now it doesn't die but sometimes when hes on the throttle itll feel like it cuts out for a second and then runs, doesn't completely die like before, and it will do it in neutral sometimes but not die. It's all stock minus exhaust, 5 speed manual. 211k miles. Also going down the road with my scanner attatched it will only show freeze frame sdata not continuous data stream and sometimes disconects with no signal. I know its not the obd2 port as i held it in going down the road.
