Default turbo removal

Well i ordered my new o'rings for my bad oil leek at the pedestal and stuff from RiffRaff diesel and now i have to take the turbo off just wanted to get some info on how to take it off and how long it will take.i searched the forum and didn't come up with anything.and i herd that theres a lower and uper part of the pedestal what does that meen cus the oring kit i bought comes with 4 o'rings.and does the turbo and pedestal have to come out as one.

yes. turbo to pedestal and pedestal to block and look here Turbo_Removal google is a fine search engine too!

mossback thats a cool pic of your lady! I actually took one just like that of mine a few weeks ago while she was driving us home. The rear window was open so her hair was flying all over, but still a cool pic none the less.

Mine likes driving the truck because it "sits high", but she doesn't like the steering and how it goes all over.


FYI, she didn't know I took the pic of her while she was driving. Its quite funny.

well the OBS turbos can be a pain. if IRC the lower bolt on the passenger side for the exhaust flange is a bugger. and that's with the engine out.

and yes, the turbo and pedistol come out as one. then under the pedistol there is a small plate held in with a 10 mil bolt. pull that off and there will be two biggere bolts. i think they're a 14 mil.
