Hey bombers.
A guy living a little over an hour away from me has a turbo off of a 2000 powerstroke listed online. I gave him a call asking a couple of questions. He said that the compressor wheel and the bearing were all in good shape and the turbo has about 75,000 miles on it. The turbo on my 97 is pretty worn out and i was wondering if i would be able to throw the turbo off of the 2000 PSD onto my '97. The guy is asking $50... If i could do this, that would be prime over buying a compressor wheel for $80. Post up guys i need this answered ! Thanks ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Anyone? - Last edited by PSD; 11-05-2009 at 10:10 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Nope... It will not fit your truck. You would have to swap the turbo pedistal, up pipes, Y pipe to even get close.
You could buy the turbo and clean it up and sell it for about $200 if its in good shape, but dont get it for your truck. |
