Default 02 powerstoke swap into 95obs

I have a 1995 F-350
Powerstroke 5"><span style=Powerstroke 5" /> Powerstroke 5">Powerstroke 5
speed with engine going down. I have a 2002 F-250 automatic transmission with a Powerstroke donor truck.. what is the difference & what would I need or need to do to make the 02 motor http://www.powerstrokenation.com/forums/# & work in the 1995 F-350.

Thanks,
Mike

sorry I copied and pasted from another fourm. Wasn't getting any hits from there.

If your just wanting to swap the engine. You just have to swap the engine harness on top of the engine, electric fuel and tuning.

I've got the whole 02 truck. Can I.Just unplug the engine harness from both trucks and leave harness hooked up to engine and plug and play? What part of harnesses are compatible? As far as tuning. Do I need to take to shop with programming Tuners? Both trucks has programmers. I'm going to unprogram both before pulling engines.

The main thing I can think of is the valve cover gaskets are different, so you could use the ones from the OBS on the SD engine.

As far as the tuning you will need custom tuning. Or you can swap the OBS injectors into the SD engine and not have to get tuning. But the SD engine will have ADs and will be more power if you get the fight tuning

Thanks for the help. So just swap motors. Use the obs valve cover gaskets. And the obs motor harness or spd motor harness? Will the spd harness plug up and work with the factory obs body harness? Is there anyway I can use the spd ecm and idm? What about the air to air? I am mechanically inclined..... Just not a lot about motor swap with electronic stuff. So thank you for all the help.....

You can swap the SD IDM and the intercooler. The IDM is just a plug and go, the intercooler takes a little work to use but I did it in mine. The computer can not be used without a ton of work that is in no way worth it.

The engine will swap in with no issues, its the few wiring things that will need swapped to make it all work. But you will need an electric fuel system.

I hope that I've not been a pain asking a lot of questions. Can you make me a list of what I have to use from each truck to use the 02 in the 95. And what will plug and play? Can I bypass the air to air? My donor truck was hit in front.(was my mom's shop truck). It busted the air to air. Also could I get a programmer from a tuner place shipped to me and program it. Thank you very much for all the help...
